NCC

National Cadet Corps was formed in 1948 in India with the National Cadet Corps Act . The motto of NCC is ‘Unity & Discipline’. It is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. NCC is regarded as the second line of defence. NCC aims to develop leadership character, comradeship, sportsmanship spirit and the ideal of service. It creates a force of disciplined manpower which provides assistance in case of national emergency. It trains students to enable then to obtain commission in the armed forces.
