The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Government-sponsored public service programme conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. NSS is a voluntary association being run at Bibi Sharan Kaur Khalsa College, Sri Chamkaur Sahib where camps are organized for students to undertake various social welfare activities like Blood Donation, Tree Plantation and awareness programs on drug de-addiction, AIDS, save environment and various other social awareness campaigns. Special efforts are put in to develop students personality through community services.
